An internship is not a vocational training course, but it does permit good insights into everyday working life. If you are not yet precisely sure what the right profession for you is, internships are an ideal way to get to know different professions. You can also complete internships successively in several companies.

Internships – an ideal way into the working world

By working in a company, you get to know other people. This will improve your language skills. Conversely, a work placement is also a good way for employers to get to know you and your skills. This often leads to a real job or an apprenticeship. A work placement must help you to learn something about an occupation or a job. If this is not the case or the work placement lasts longer than three months, you will need a work permit.
