"Religion seems not to play a role here, but the people are in fact religious. They maintain their culture, even if they don’t go to church. I know a lot of people who pay church tax. I find it interesting that in Germany even atheists are familiar with religious issues. They are interested. That also shows tolerance. There are no limits to that here, you can practice your religion freely."
